From the local courts of New Jersey to the hallowed grass of Wimbledon, Ronit Karki has established himself as one of the most resilient and tactical competitors in the next generation of tennis.

In 2025, Ronit captivated the global tennis community with a historic run from the qualifiers to the Junior Boys’ Singles Final at the All England Club. His journey marked by grit, composure, and a signature 'KitKat' comeback—vaulted him to a career-high World No. 16 ITF Junior ranking.

Now, Ronit is bridging the gap to the professional tour. With his first ATP points on the board and a recent Quarterfinal run at the 2026 Naples M15, he is proving that his game belongs at the highest level. In the Fall of 2026, Ronit will take his talents to Stanford University, joining the winningest program in college tennis history.

The Karki Tennis Journey: A Shared Vision

Tennis has always been a family affair in the Karki household. Ronit’s story began at the local courts of East Brunswick, New Jersey, where Ronit first picked up a racquet at age four, mostly because he was bored with the kiddie area and wanted to do exactly what his older sister, Naomi, was doing. What began as a sibling rivalry quickly turned into a shared pursuit of excellence.

We moved to the U.S. from Mumbai in 2001, carrying with us a deep love for sport and a belief in the power of 'daily, consistent work.' That belief has guided every step of our journey, including a pivotal move to Orlando, Florida, three years ago to elevate our training and chase the next level.

Today, though we often find ourselves on opposite sides of the country". Naomi leading the way at Rutgers University and Ronit preparing for Stanford University and the ATP Tour, we remain each other’s biggest supporters. From the KitKat” comeback to post-match thumbs-up selfies with mom, every milestone is a family win. We are proud to represent the Karki name both on and off the court, proving that with resilience, consistency, and family behind you, no goal is out of reach
